I was in charge of composing, sound editing and mixing. This project started from an article written by Sanya Khan exploring the significance of the traditional Indian saree for a woman born and raised in America.

Through wearing the saree, she finds a powerful connection to her roots and a deeper sense of unity with her culture.

Using background footage from a commemorative photoshoot inspired by the article, I collaborated with Indian classical music musicians at UCLA to create a soundtrack that respectfully honored the culture and emotional depth of the story.
